About Us

For over a quarter century, we've been "building with integrity."

Our roots go back to 1996 when Leith Webb and Merritt Patterson joined forces to start Beaufort Construction Inc. to serve the South Carolina Lowcountry, including Beaufort, Port Royal, Bluffton, Hilton Head and Charleston, Hampton, Jasper and Colleton counties.

They grew the company, focusing on building medical and professional offices, banks, churches, restaurants, retail stores and schools.

In mid-1999, they hired Marty Miley as project manager and, almost 10 years later, Paul Webb joined the team as superintendent where he honed his skills at running efficient jobsites. Beaufort Construction Inc. expanded farther with projects across coastal Lowcountry of South Carolina.

The company's growth matched the explosive growth in South Carolina's population, especially along the coast, from 2000-2019. In 2019, Leith Webb and Merritt Patterson agreed to sell the company to Marty Miley and Paul Webb.

In 2019, Marty and Paul formed Beaufort Construction of SC, LLC, which bought the assets of Beaufort Construction Inc., and opened their new doors at 1840 Ribaut Road in historic Port Royal, South Carolina. The new company retained the Beaufort Construction Inc. employees.

Beaufort Construction of SC, LLC built its success - and continues to grow it -- by operating in an atmosphere of trust, enthusiasm, and plain honesty. We like the small-town business approach: We balance work, family, friends, and community. We understand that a successful project depends on a team approach from the carpenter's helper to the architect and owners- and everyone in between.

We also believe it's not just about the profit. We need to make a profit to stay in business, but we believe in building relationships that last by making the construction process as enjoyable as possible for the client/owner.

Today, we proudly continue the original philosophy from 1996, "building with integrity." We look forward to serving your construction needs with trust, enthusiasm, and plain honesty.
